Over three days in Willemstad, the capital of the Dutch island of Curacao, spectators were afforded a taste of what might happen later in the year at the World under-18 Champs in Nairobi.
Among a plethora of outstanding marks was the sub-46 second 400m of Jamaica's Christopher Taylor (a previous winner at these Games). Plus his countrymen and women showed that the rest of the world need to be at their best to withstand the force coming from their Caribbean enclave. Many are showing that the traditional sprints are being supplemented by field events exponents rapidly becoming among the very best at their craft!
